Harry Potter's Magick

Well gang the group is on hiatus for now. Not sure I spelled that word 100% correct and at the moment dont care even. I am tired and I am bummed out. I wish the group had been more exciting, more adventurous. More something, but I was unsuccessful yet again.

I think its lack of new tubes and enthusium. Lack of excitement. Lack of whatever it is. My co-owner wasnt there either so I guess it just doesnt matter. Im just plain sick and grumpy today.

Maybe Ill feel differently after the new year comes? Who knows at this point. The group is not 'closed' its just not productive. So no need to be there right. I have other things to do that can benefit me in a different way.

Sleep depravation and kits

Well this morning I have no sleep so I have been working on that new kit. Its a slow process due to the lack of sleep. I am certainly not at my peak or my best thats for sure. I want to thank all of you that have voted in the poll so far. its a great turn out! ! ! ! !

I have several new tuts that I am trying on the new kit. So there may be some new suprises in there, :::: Hint to Cari::::

Ok now here is where I may need some help from all of you PSP'ers. My free hand selection tool in X and X2 have NEVER worked correctly. No matter what I have done they freeze up both versions. I went to NDN's blog yesterday and took her advice to another blog to try that glitter filled tut. Yeah right. The free hand selection tool decided to freeze after several attempts and I had no luck getting the tut done at all. HELP PLEASE????????????

Trials and tribulations of Travis

Well another week and another suspension. He just cant keep it together for any reason. No matter what I do at school no matter what accomadations I set up for him and no matter how much I try and fight for him he chooses to be a pain in the butt to be nice. He wants to fail, he wants to live with his dad and be a drop out with no purpose in life ( his words not mine )

I keep telling him I love him and I want him to succeed because he is too smart not to. I am just not sure how else to get through to him. I beg, I plead......and I cry boy do I cry.

Any suggestions??? I feel like I am losing my son and I cant have that.

Happy Birthday Skylar

Today is my little man Skylar's birthday and he is now 7. I just can't believe it. It is hard to imagine where time has gone these past few years. I know when my oldest was born mothers all around said cherish it because it will be gone before you know it, and it is, time just seems to slip away from me.

I made this special tag for him as a birthday card this morning while he was at school. He loved it. Shelley and her girls sent him an ecard and Tracy sent him a card from England like she always does. We will be having a supper of homemade beef and noodles and then cake later on.He is a happy little boy.

The theme for my next scrap kit has been decided ( thanks Shelley ) and we think Winter is good. It will be some light blues, greens and pale off shdes of white....EXCITED YET?????

Fishing Day

I did something today that I never thought I would get to do with my sons. We actually went fishing and we had a BLAST! ! ! ! The boys all caught a fish or two or 3 and they laughed and giggled and it melted my heart to see them that way.

See when they were little and their father was in our lives we used to fish a lot. He always said teh way I did things was wrong so I came to hate it. There was no laughter, no giggles. Just beer and punches. The boys dont really remember that because they were very little at the time but I do, vividly. Today made up for it all.

Seeing my 6 year old yell "mommy look, I got another one" was all it took for me. Then having my 14 year old get so excited to snag a catfish. These are the memories I want to have forever, not the yelling, screaming and fighting.

I hugged them all extra hard when we were down because I felt so much love for them in a special mom way. This is something I will definately do again.

With the success of this last kit ( in my opinion ) I have decided that after my meeting I will make a new one for you all to snag. I had so much fun making that last one too. I just need to think of a great color scheme this time. I think I will do a mix. See what inspires me most.

Since I have 3 followers, Miss Beth, Miss Alet and a newbie I hope to get to know :0) any suggestions???? Would love your opinions. Beth and Alet both know that if anything I am open to suggestions. Cari, girl if your out there and you see this........open up and let me hear you. I know you have an opinion too.
